Sajal Aly biography
Sajal Aly has worked steadily since 2011, and her filmography is long: our verified table below has 38 television serials. Very little of it is filler. Even early soaps such as Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain led to Nanhi (2013), the thriller that brought her first Lux Style Awards nomination.
Geo News marked her 26th birthday in January 2020, which matches the widely reported birth date of 17 January 1994. Images Dawn gives Lahore as her hometown and notes that her sister, Saboor Aly, is also an actress.
The mid-2010s made her a lead: Chup Raho, Gul-e-Rana (her first HUM Award) and then Yakeen Ka Safar (2017), which Images Dawn and The Express Tribune both rank among her best work. She also acted outside Pakistan, playing Sridevi's daughter in the Hindi film Mom (2017), and won the Lux Style Award for film actress for Khel Khel Mein (2021).
