About MyBook.Pk

MyBook.Pk is a free educational website about Pakistan. Its core is an atlas of the country's provinces, territories, districts and tehsils, with pages on history, geography, culture, literature, sports and television drama alongside it.

Who runs MyBook.Pk

MyBook.Pk is run by Salim Khan (editor and owner), based in Islamabad, Pakistan, together with Build Skill, which publishes digital-skills lessons on YouTube and Facebook and offers the school and business services listed on the Services page. Every page on this site is written, checked against sources and corrected by our team. Contact: buildskillspk@gmail.com. Editor and owner contact: salimpk742@gmail.com.

The current site was started in August 2026. In earlier years the mybook.pk address was used by unrelated websites, including an online magazine around 2011 and a school-notes site in 2022 and 2023. None of their content is used here.

Who the site is for

The site is written for school and college students, candidates preparing for general-knowledge sections of competitive exams, teachers who need a quick checked reference, and anyone who wants a plain answer to questions such as "how many tehsils does this district have?" or "what was its population in the 2023 census?".

What you will find

• A page for each province and territory, with the current number of districts and the notifications or reports behind that number.
• A page for each district, with its headquarters, tehsils or sub-divisions, 2023 census population, area, literacy and main languages, a list of sources and a short FAQ.
• Tehsil lists, district hubs for each province and a full list of districts.
• Background pages on history, geography, culture, literature, sports and showbiz.

Editorial approach

• Sources first. Census figures come from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). Administrative changes such as new districts come from government notifications or from reports by established news organisations. Each atlas page lists the sources it uses.
• No invented facts. We do not publish numbers, dates, quotes or claims that we cannot trace to a source. Older text that has not yet been checked is withheld rather than shown.
• Clear about limits. Where the 2023 census predates a district's creation, or official sources disagree, the page says so.
• Dated. Every page shows when it was last updated.

The full method is described on Sources & Methodology.
