Administrative changes. Districts and tehsils are created, split and renamed from time to time. A page can fall behind a new notification until we update it. Each province page shows the date and source of its district count.
Census timing. 2023 census figures describe the country as enumerated in 2023. For districts created later, the figures are the 2023 rows of their constituent tehsils, as each page explains.
History, culture and showbiz pages. These are summaries based on the sources cited on each page. They are not exhaustive.
