Mitti De Baway Story
Mitti De Baway is a large-scale Green TV drama set in rural Punjab. It marks Mahira Khan's return to television after several years focused mainly on films, and pairs her with Wahaj Ali.
Mahira Khan plays Billo, a strong and intense woman at the centre of the story, and Wahaj Ali plays Bala, a raw and ruthless character that is a departure from his earlier roles; he underwent a physical transformation for the part. Sohail Ahmed plays an influential figure in Bala's journey, Amar Khan takes on an intense Punjabi character, and parts of the story go back to the 1990s, with Aena Khan and Fazal Hussain as the younger Billo and Bala.
