Gulbahar Story
Gulbahar is a new HUM TV family drama about Sara (Sanam Saeed) and Sheheryar (Emmad Irfani), a couple deeply in love whose marriage comes under pressure because Sara cannot have children.
Komal Meer plays Diya, Sara's younger relative and close friend, whose own engagement falls apart. As older women in the family push a second marriage as the only answer, the story sets up rivalry and heartbreak between two women who care for each other. Dawn's reviewer criticised the familiar second-wife trope but praised Mehreen Jabbar's bright, brief and character-focused scenes.
