Ayeza Khan: Dramas, Awards and Fifteen Years on Screen

Ayeza Khan biography

Born Kanza Khan on 15 January 1991 in Karachi (The News), Ayeza Khan entered television through modelling. Her first part was a supporting role in the Ramadan series Tum Jo Miley (2009), and for most of the next decade she worked almost without a break. Our verified list has 38 serials.

The turning point came in 2013–14 with Pyarey Afzal on ARY Digital. Her Farah, opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi, won the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress (Daily Times). Mere Meherbaan, Tum Kon Piya and Koi Chand Rakh kept her among the top leads. Then came Meray Paas Tum Ho (2019), in which she played the woman who leaves her husband (Humayun Saeed) for a rich man. It became one of the most-watched and most-debated serials of its time.

She lightened up in Chupke Chupke (HUM TV, 2021), a Ramadan comedy with Osman Khalid Butt that won her a Lux Style Award (Viewers' Choice) and a HUM Award. She has since returned to drama with Mein (2023), as a woman with bipolar disorder, and Jaan-e-Jahan (2023–24), reuniting with Hamza Ali Abbasi.
